June 16, 2009 Board Meeting Agenda Item #48 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #9149 FOR FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT REPAIR PARTS Description Bids to provide 'Food Service Equipment Repair Parts' were received from five vendors on May 20, 2009.  The bids of Heritage Food Service Equipment, Inc., and Whaley Foodservice Repairs, Inc., were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bids of Heritage Food Service Equipment, Inc., and Whaley Foodservice Repairs, Inc., to provide 'Food Service Equipment Repair Parts' in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
